COMMUNITY DIALOGUE (CD) STRATEGIC PLAN 2016-2019
Vision A vibrant, just, inclusive society informed and empowered through dialogue.
Mission To engage people throughout society in dialogue that challenges racism and other forms of intolerance and encourages peace building attitudes, skills and behaviour.
Aim 1: To reinvigorate and develop an efficient and reflective learning organisation.
1.1 To update and consolidate all databases.
1.2 To develop strategic partnerships.
1.3 To develop the role of volunteers.
1.4 To raise the profile of the work of CD.
1.5 To develop spaces for reflection and learning.
1.6 To disseminate learning through social media.
Aim 2: To deliver creative dialogue processes that challenge attitudes and behaviours leading to conflict; embedding peacebuilding attitudes, skills and behaviours.
2.1 To develop, promote and deliver the ‘Creative Dialogue Toolbox’.
2.2 To facilitate urban, rural, borders and interface dialogues.
2.3 To learn from our practice and the practice of others.
2.4 To share good practice through social media, publications and training materials.
2.5 To explore and promote innovation in dialogue practice.
2.6 To evaluate effective dialogue practice.
Aim 3: To develop and maintain a team of creative dialogue practitioners.
3.1 To recruit peacebuilding practitioners with diverse skills into our Facilitators Network.
3.2 To provide training for our Facilitators Network.
3.3 To update our peacebuilding training materials.
3.4 To evaluate and respond to the training and support needs of our Facilitators Network.
Aim 4: To deliver accredited peacebuilding training enabling participants to become active peacebuilders.

Aim 5: To secure CD’s financial future.
5.1 To secure funding to support the work of CD.
5.2 To utilize accreditation to generate income to support the work of CD.
5.3 To secure other opportunities to generate income to support the work of CD.
